New Hidden-Camera Series to Feature Disney Stars

BURBANK: Selena Gomez, Debby Ryan and Mitchel Musso are among the Disney Channel stars taking part in the network’s new hidden-camera series PrankStars, which sees unsuspecting tweens and teens set up to come face to face with their favorite celebrities.

Premiering July 15 at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel, the series is hosted by Musso (Pair of Kings, Phineas and Ferb), who directs the pranks live from a mobile command center. The show watches as family members orchestrate a surprise meeting between kid fans and their favorite celebs in unpredictable and comedic situations. The premiere episode features three pranks, one with Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), Ryan (The Suite Life on Deck) and Musso. New episodes will debut every month, featuring a lineup of new stars.
