NEW YORK: Gavin Harvey has been named executive VP and general manager of the music network Fuse, where he will lead day-to-day operations.

Harvey will manage Fuse’s business strategy, marketing, ad sales, programming and production. He will also be responsible for shaping the overall music strategy for Fuse by working closely with Madison Square Garden Entertainment, and its venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Beacon Theatre, Radio City Music Hall, The Chicago Theatre and the Wang Theatre in Boston. He will report to Michael Bair, the president of MSG Media. Harvey has more than 20 years of experience in the TV industry, most recently serving as president of VERSUS, the sports-oriented cable network owned by Comcast, where he oversaw the network’s overall programming, operation, marketing and sales operation.

“I am excited to be joining Fuse and Madison Square Garden and believe that the network offers tremendous opportunities to utilize my television experience and interest in music,” said Harvey. “Madison Square Garden Entertainment and its venues are highly respected within the music industry and I look forward to working together to develop compelling music content to position Fuse as a must-watch channel for music fans.”
