New European Deals for Total Drama Island

LONDON, May 22: Cake
Distribution has sold the interactive animated reality sitcom Total Drama
Island to a range of broadcasters
in Europe, including Jetix Benelux.

Cake Distribution has also
licensed the series to Canal + Family in France, Noga Israel, Digiturk Turkey,
Salmon Russia and Diema in Bulgaria for a 2008/9 broadcast.

Targeted at kids aged 2 to
11, Total Drama Island is a
FRESH production with TELETOON Canada. The series features a blend of event
programming and cartoon comedy, with a sequential elimination competition among
22 youths that will leave the audience with only one winner in the end.

Additionally, there is an
interactive website accompanying the linear series that allows users to compete
in 26 episode-specific one-line games with their own avatar. The website is
being localized into various languages to synchronize with the local broadcast
schedules.
