New Dominion to Launch Docu-Reality Series

SUFFOLK, March 31: New
Dominion Pictures has completed production on a pilot for a new docu-reality
series, Chasing Warbirds, which
will be offered for presale at MIPTV.

The series follows a group
of plane hunters as they scour the globe for wrecked World War II airplanes to
restore them and make them fly again. In the pilot episode, a Virginia
businessman with a collection of rare planes sends his crew to Papua New Guinea
in search of a Lockheed P-38 Lightning. Producers are gearing up for 12
additional episodes.

"It is thrilling to
sink our teeth into another gritty reality series, a nice shift from the
dramatic documentaries broadcasters tend to recognize us for," said Nicolas
Valcour, the CEO of New Dominion. "The global reach of the program has
already sparked a great deal of interest in the international marketplace, and
New Dominion is beginning to partner with broadcasters across the globe seeking
to add Chasing Warbirds to
their slates. We look forward to introducing the completed pilot and initiating
talks on presales for a September 2009 premiere."
