New Docuseries Heading to Style Network

LOS ANGELES: The Style Network has a new unscripted series, tentatively titled Mothers and Daughters of Dallas, set for an eight-episode run this fall.

The docuseries follows the lives of fashion- and status-obsessed mothers and daughters from the Texas social scene. The show looks into the daily happenings in a wealthy Dallas community, where mothers and daughters are always shopping, gossiping and keeping up appearances.

The new series was developed by Allison Grodner Productions for The Style Network. Executive producer Allison Grodner and co-executive producer Peter Tartaglia will produce the series, alongside Style executive producers Sarah Weidman and Merah Chung.

"Everything is bigger in Texas…the attitudes, the hair, the jewelry, and the lavish lifestyles that bond these mothers and daughters together," said Salaam Coleman Smith, the president of The Style Network. "Viewers will get to know the funny, outrageous and obsessive mothers and daughters at the top of the Dallas social scene and will go inside a world that that has not been explored before."
