New Deals Closed on marblemedia/Picture Box Series

CANNES, April 19: marblemedia
Distribution and Picture Box Distribution have finalized international
distribution deals this week for two Canadian live-action preschool series, This
is Daniel Cook and This is
Emily Yeung, which are now airing
in over 75 countries.

Discovery Latin America
and Rainbow Television Corporation—whose territories include Algeria,
Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia—have picked up 65 episodes of
each show and will dub and/or subtitle them into the various languages of those
territories. South Korea’s C4U Media Co Ltd also picked up 65 episodes of This
is Daniel Cook for their networks.

Currently, Daniel and Emily can
be seen daily on Playhouse Disney U.S., and Daniel Cook also airs on Playhouse Disney Germany and
Australia’s public broadcaster ABC. In Canada, This Is Daniel Cook is broadcast on Treehouse, TVO Kids, Knowledge
Network, Access Alberta and SCN. This is Emily Yeung airs exclusively in Canada on Corus
Entertainment’s preschool channel, Treehouse. Both shows are a co-production of
Canadian producers marblemedia and Sinking Ship Entertainment. Picture Box
Distribution, a Canadian-based sales and distribution agency, provides sales
agency services on This is Daniel Cook. This is Daniel Cook
and This is Emily Yeung bring
children along on exciting adventures to learn everything from digging up
dinosaur bones to swimming with dolphins.
