NBC Execs Take On New Responsibilities in Strategic Realignment

NEW YORK, February 16: NBC Universal’s new president and
CEO, Jeff Zucker, has announced expanded roles for three senior company
executives: Beth Comstock, Jeff Gaspin and Marc Graboff.

"With my new responsibilities, I am making some
organizational adjustments to set us up for continued momentum and
growth," said Zucker. "Fortunately, we have a tremendous bench of
skilled executives. I am pleased to have Beth, Jeff and Marc play even greater
roles going forward. I have worked with each of them for a long time and have
complete confidence in their ability to lead these new divisions. The goal is
to have an organization that is simple, understandable and can move quickly in
this new and complicated world."

Beth Comstock, previously president of digital media and
market development, becomes president of integrated media. In this role, she
adds executive oversight of television ad sales, managed by Michael Pilot as
president. By closely aligning ad sales with marketing, research and digital
media, the company aims to be better positioned to meet the multiplatform
marketing needs of its clients. Those continuing to report to Comstock, in
addition to Pilot, who adds marketing to his responsibilities, include: Deborah
Fine, the president of iVillage Properties; George Kliavkoff, chief digital
officer; and Alan Wurtzel, the president of research. Barbara Blangiardi, who
takes the new title of SVP for strategic marketing and content innovation, will
now report to Pilot.

Jeff Gaspin, formerly president of cable entertainment,
digital content and cross-network strategy, will now serve as the president of
cable and digital content. This division combines cable content and
distribution within a single organization for the first time. Reporting to him
are Bridget Baker, the president of television networks distribution; and
Jean-Briac Perrette, the president of digital distribution. Continuing to
report to Gaspin are Bonnie Hammer, the president of USA Network and SCI FI
Channel; Lauren Zalaznick, the president of Bravo; and Dan Harrison, the SVP of
emerging networks (Universal HD, Sleuth, Chiller, NBCU 2 GO). In addition to
his cable responsibilities, Gaspin will continue to oversee the company's
entertainment programming on all of its digital outlets.

Marc Graboff, the president of NBC Universal Television,
West Coast, takes on three new areas of executive responsibility. Now reporting
directly to him are West Coast-based executives Kevin Reilly, the president of
NBC Entertainment; Angela Bromstad, the president of NBC Universal Television
Studio; and John Miller, the president of NBC Agency and chief marketing
officer of NBC Universal Television. This aligns the entertainment division,
the television studio, and the network's promotion arm under a single
executive. Barry Wallach, the president of domestic TV distribution, will
continue to report to Graboff. Additionally, Graboff will continue to have
responsibility for the company's business affairs unit.
