New Celebreality Competition Series for VH1

NEW YORK, May 5: Select
contestants from VH1’s Rock of Love,
I Love New York and Flavor
of Love
will return to compete in
a new celebreality series for the network, I Love Money, premiering July 13 at 9 p.m.

The 12-episode series,
hosted by Craig J. Jackson (30 Seconds to Fame, The X Show), will watch 17 former contestants from VH1 dating series compete
against each other for the chance to win a $250,000 grand prize. The group will
travel to Mexico to participate in a series of challenges, designed to test
their determination to get rich. The show is created and executive produced by
Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for 51 Minds Entertainment, an Endemol Company, who
also produced Rock of Love, Flavor
of Love
, Charm School, I Love New York, The Surreal Life and My Fair Brady.

Starting today, VH1 will
begin unveiling specifics for I Love Money online on the VH1 Blog at Blog.VH1.com. Each day
throughout this week, the VH1 Blog will uncover never-before-seen videos from
the upcoming series, along with photos, biographies, memorable moments and
exclusive details leading up to the show’s premiere.

"I Love Money is the perfect celebreality storm as it takes the
biggest, boldest and most outspoken characters from VH1's hit series and puts
them on one giant show," said Jeff Olde, the executive VP of programming
and development for VH1. "Our producers at 51 Minds have delivered hit
after hit for VH1 by casting the most watercooler characters in the history of
reality TV. We couldn't resist the opportunity to make those breakout
characters the true stars of their own show."
