New 2-D Series from Studio B

VANCOUVER: Studio B Productions, behind the kids’ series Martha Speaks and Kid vs. Kat, has signed a development deal with Slap Happy Cartoons for the new 2-D animated series B.O.O.M. Boys.

Targeting kids aged 6 to 11, B.O.O.M. Boys is a 52×11-minute comedy series about three bionic brothers—Flip, Ollie and Kick—who build out-of-this-world inventions while escaping the grasp of the evil military agency that developed them. "We are excited to be partnering with Slap Happy on this new project," said Jillianne Reinseth, the director of development for Studio B Productions. "B.O.O.M. Boys is an original and highly entertaining series that will appeal to audiences in Canada and around the world."

"We’re thrilled to be working with Studio B on B.O.O.M. Boys," said Vito Viscomi of Slap Happy Cartoons. "Their experience and proven track record are second to none."
