Netflix Names VP of Partner Product Development

LOS GATOS, November 13:
Netflix has tasked Gregory Peters with bringing a range of devices to market
from leading consumer electronics manufactures that are capable of streaming
content from the online movie rental service directly to consumers' TVs.

In the newly created role
of VP of partner product development, Peters will report to Netflix' chief
product officer, Neil Hunt. Most recently, Peters was the senior VP of consumer
electronics products for Macrovision Solutions Corporation, and previously
served as the VP of engineering for Mediabolic.

"Greg's expertise in
all aspects of the product development lifecycle—from vision to design to
implementation—will be a significant asset to Netflix and our partners as
we push toward our goal of eventually enabling all U.S. households to stream
Netflix to their TVs," said Dr. Hunt.
