NCIS Ranks as America’s Favorite TV Show

NEW YORK: NCIS takes the top spot as America’s favorite TV show, climbing from the number four spot the year prior, while CSI, which topped the previous ranking, came in second, according to the results of The Harris Poll.

M*A*S*H, a show now only seen in reruns, is the number three show, dropping only one spot from the prior poll. Two and a Half Men clocked in at number four, rising from number eight. Seinfeld, also only seen in reruns, rounds out the top five.

The top ten features Lost in the number six spot, followed by Star Trek, Friends and Criminal Minds, with I Love Lucy/The Lucy Show and Law & Order tied at number ten. Also notable, Family Guy, Bones, House and Grey’s Anatomy comprised the next five spots, while 24, ER and The Simpsons dropped out of the top 15 this year.

The Harris Poll, carried out by Harris Interactive, surveyed 2,379 adults online between March 7 and 14.
