NBCU Expands Channels in Papua New Guinea

SINGAPORE: Universal Channel and SCI FI will launch in Papua New Guinea on March 1, available on the digital MMDS service owned by  Hitron.

Universal Channel is now available in six markets and SCI FI is now in seven countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Hallmark Channel, another NBC Universal Global Networks owned channel, has been available on Hitron since 1999. Papua New Guinea also has the full suite of four channel brands in the market: SCI FI, Universal, Hallmark and KidsCo.
