NBC Soap Joins iTunes

BURBANK, August 16: NBC’s
popular soap Passions has
become the first daytime drama available for download and purchase on the
iTunes Music Store.

Episodes will be available
the day after airing for $1.99 per episode. On the iTunes lineup, it joins
other NBC Universal show such as The Office, Monk and
Project Runway.

"Our dedicated Passions fans have proven time and again that they are both
extremely Internet savvy and unwilling to miss even one episode of their
favorite show," said Annamarie Kostura, the VP of NBC Daytime Programs.
"NBC Daytime is thrilled to be the first daytime drama featured on iTunes
and is confident our audience will enjoy downloading episodes that they can
then watch for years to come."
