NBC Shuffles Summer Mini-Series

UNIVERSAL CITY: NBC has re-scheduled the air dates for two original, four-hour summer mini-series from RHI Entertainment, Meteor and The Storm.

Meteor was previously scheduled for broadcast on June 7 and 14 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The mini-series is now slated for July 12 and 19 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The story follows Dr. Lehman (played by Christopher Lloyd of Back to the Future) and Imogene O’Neil (Marla Sokoloff of The Practice), two scientists who discover that a giant meteor has been knocked out of its orbit and is now barreling straight for Earth.

The Storm, which was scheduled for July 19 and 26 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., will now be airing July 26 and August 2 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The epic mini-series event watches as the changeable forces of nature combine—in the air, on land, in the seas—as the world counts down its final, catastrophic hours. The Storm stars Treat Williams (Everwood) and James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek).
