NBC Renews Las Vegas for Fifth Season

BURBANK, February 28: NBC has renewed the drama series Las
Vegas
for a fifth season through 2007-2008.

Currently in its fourth season, Las Vegas is averaging 9 million viewers with a 2.8 rating and
an 8-percent share among adults aged 18-49. It is ranked number-one among
adults aged 18-49 in the Friday 9-10 p.m. timeslot.

Television, Las Vegas is a fast-paced
drama that follows an elite Las Vegas surveillance team charged with
maintaining the security of one of "Sin City's" largest resorts and
casinos. It stars James Caan (The Godfather, Misery),
Josh Duhamel (All My Children),
Molly Sims (MTV's Starsky and Hutch),
Nikki Cox (Nikki), James Lesure (For
Your Love
) and Vanessa Marcil (Beverly
Hills, 90210
). Creator Gary Scott Thompson
serves as executive producer along with Gardner Stern (Law &
Order
, NYPD Blue), Justin Falvey (Rescue Me), Darryl Frank (Rescue Me), Matt Pyken (Skin) and Kim Newton (The X-Files)
