NBC Extends Deal for Pageant Coverage

NEW YORK/BURBANK, March 29: NBC has renewed its agreement
with Donald J. Trump and the Miss Universe Organization to broadcast the Miss
Universe and Miss USA competitions for three more years, beginning in 2008.

As part of the deal, Telemundo will also continue to
broadcast the Miss Universe pageant as well as produce a Spanish-language
simulcast and pre-pageant program.

"Under the auspices of Donald Trump, NBC and the Miss
Universe Organization, there has been renewed interest in these series of
beauty pageants, especially among a new generation of younger viewers,"
said Kevin Reilly, the president of NBC Entertainment. "NBC is proud to
maintain this unique American cultural tradition as a viable series of
competitive programming specials that continue to be a popular source of family
entertainment."
