NBC.Com Unveils Digital Entertainment Initiatives for 2008

LAS VEGAS, January 9:
NBC.com announced a new slate of content for midseason, including a partnership
with iVillage on a Lipstick Jungle-related
property, the launch of a new chapter in Heroes Evolution and a slew of online sites for television
properties.

Bonfire Magazine, the fictional publication edited by Lipstick
Jungle
’s protagonist Nico
O’Neilly, will be brought to life online. The website is being developed as a
partnership between NBC.com and iVillage, and will be a fully editorialized
publication with features on fashion, love and work. The site will also include
streaming episodes.

In Heroes Evolution, the Heroes online mythology grows as new back-stories and plot twists are added
through the Heroes online and
mobile micro-sites. Interactive elements will be added, such as a detective
story in which users can work through case files, company records and video
clues to solve a crime. The story will be tied together with a series of
original graphic novels.

Additionally, new sites
will be built for properties including the Knight Rider movie, featuring an interactive KITT car and
behind-the-scenes interviews; American Gladiators, with unaired footage, photos and streaming
episodes; and Celebrity Apprentice,
with final thoughts from celebrities and “Where Are The Now” updates. All are
expected to launch by the end of January.

A number of other NBC
properties will be streamed on NBC.com, including Baby Borrowers, Medium, quarterlife and Scrubs.

“We are fortunate to have
great mid-season programming that is a natural fit for a digital entertainment
experience,” said Vivi Zigler, the executive VP of NBC Digital Entertainment.
“Users will find a wealth of new content, interactive features and exclusive
video to entertain them during the cold winter days.”
