Nat Geo Wild Unveils Launch Slate

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic is launching the new network Nat Geo Wild, which spotlights the the animal kingdom, on March 29, along with an HD feed.

Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Wild HD will debut with a lineup of specials, new series and blue-chip programming. Premiere programs include Rebel Monkeys, which will launch March 31 and will air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Expedition Wild with Casey Anderson launches April 5 for a Monday 9 p.m. slot. Mystery Gorillas with Mireya Mayor premieres April 5 at 10 p.m. Africa’s Lost Eden follows on April 12 at 10 p.m., Shark Island with Enric Sala launches April 19 at 9 p.m. and Hunt for the Giant Octopus debuts April 20 at 9 p.m. Further series include My Life is a Zoo, which will premiere April 26 at 10 p.m.
