Nat Geo Wild Launches in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, January 2: National Geographic Channels
International’s (NGCI) 24-hour wildlife channel Nat Geo Wild has launched on
Hong Kong Cable Television.

Nat Geo Wild is broadcast in both English and Cantonese
languages, making it the only channel from NGCI available with dual voice track
options. Nat Geo Wild is dedicated to the best in wildlife programming,
offering unique insight into the natural world, the environment and the
creatures that inhabit it.

“We have a long-standing distribution partnership with Hong
Kong Cable Television since the debut of National Geographic Channel in 1999
and Nat Geo Adventure (previously known as A1) in 2002,” said Zubin Gandevia, the executive VP and managing director
of National Geographic Channel Asia. “We are delighted to partner with Hong
Kong Cable Television in launching Nat Geo Wild to extend the channel’s
distribution in Hong Kong.”

David Gunson, the senior VP of broadcasting and programming
for National Geographic Channel Asia, added, “Nat Geo Wild showcases the

explorers. It will take viewers deep into the sanctuary of the wild, unveiling
