What are some of your top properties for MIPTV? 
As always we arrive to MIPTV anxious to introduce Dori Media Group’s new titles. We know our clients have high expectations from us, and as always we come to introduce the European market a wide scope of telenovelas and daily dramas, among them we can name:
Ladronas" is an action series which tells the story of widowed Emma Blinder, who is shocked to discover that her deceased husband, a prominent judge, was in fact a corrupt man. Determined to right his wrongs, she recruits 3 attractive, professional women-thieves to help her. In each episode, the women embark on risky yet comical tasks, using all of their abilities to get justice done.
Ciega a Citas (Date Blind)—already sold to 8 countries in only 4 months, this romantic comedy brings the story of single Lucía, who overhears her mother make a bet with her younger sister that she won’t be able to bring a real boyfriend to her sister’s wedding. Lucía sets out to find a genuine loving boyfriend, knowing all too well that she has only 258 days at her disposal until her sister’s wedding day. Ciega a Citas (Date Blind) is a co-production of Dori Media Contenidos and Rosstoc.
Split II—after being sold to 35 countries in only 9 months, this teen-vampire daily drama starts its 2nd season. After solving the age-old conflict between vampires and humans, 16-years-old Ella refuses to accept the fact that as the next prophet she is destined to live in absolute isolation. She sets out to find a solution, only to learn that she has to choose between the new boy in her life – Adam, and Leo, who loves her deeply.
uMan—This innovative interactive reality format has already been sold to 8 countries in 7 months and is currently in advanced negotiations around the world. This unique 24/7 cross-platform control game is based on an idea developed by Dori New Media and produced by Dori Media Darset with Cellcom, for cell phones, internet and TV . Eight contestants enter a "Lab" for 21 days during which their every move is controlled by the viewers and they have to score life-points to win. The viewers’ control is constant and relates to how they live, what they eat, what they wear and who they sleep with.
Pilots’ Wives—A daily drama set in an Air Force base, revolving around the lives of fighter pilots and their families. The series focuses on the pilots’ wives – beautiful, sexy, strong women, married to the most desirable men, all living in one close knit community.
We can also name Money Time as a product with great potential towards the World Cup, as it revolves around the soccer universe.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?
One of Dori Media Group’s big advantages is that we produce for one single territory— the world. This is the reason that all our productions are known for their ability to cross boundaries with universal storylines, trendy themes, updated editing, unique shooting techniques, neutral looking cast etc.
Among the wide variety of our cross boundaries content we can name:
Ladronas, the first action series produced by Dori Media Contenidos, tells the story of 4 brave women which decide to create a better world by fixing past injustices. Ladronas is a unique action comedy as it revolves around a universal topic of empowering women, which is told in a humorous way. We believe that this important massage along the great cast will touch women of all ages from different corners of the world, and create a universal appeal to Ladronas.
Ciega a Citas (Date Blind) is what we call a "New-vela" as it contains all the basic elements of the traditional telenovelas but with an edge – its storyline is more updated and unique; its pace is faster; and the way it is shot and edited is innovative. This comic drama is inspired by the original and successful Lucía Gonzale´s Blognovela, which is the first blog in Spanish and one of the first in the world to be adapted for television. It became a huge success on the web achieving two and a half million views and eighty thousand comments in only 9 months (November 2007 to June 2008). The subject matter of Ciega a Citas is blind dating, an issue being dealt in any country today among all ages which makes this daily drama appealing to a large range of buyers.
We are certain that the 2nd season of the teen vampire daily drama Split, will be well accepted by international buyers the same way as the first season. We believe that the high production standards of Split and its international appeal most certainly contributed to the series ability to attract the most desirable audience—teenagers. 35 countries have already purchased the original version of Split, either subtitled or dubbed, and we hope that the 2nd season will help expose it to more countries worldwide.
uMan represents the new media field of Dori Media Group. It is a unique product that has the ability to attract the most desirable target audience – teenagers, and enable them to influence through their mobile phones and through internet surfing. It is an international format that can be easily adapted in different countries and cultures around the globe. It was sold to the trendsetting, independent mobile media and technology company Buongiorno in Spain, to Greece and to 6 other European countries: France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands and Denmark.

What are your goals and expectations for MIPTV?
As we noticed in recent markets, there is a slow recovery in almost all territories after the financial crisis. That is why the demand for telenovelas, which are known for their ability to form high loyalty with the viewers, rises from market to market.
We see in MIPTV 2010 a great opportunity to introduce Dori Media Group’s new titles to the European buyers, as well as already successful titles, and we are certain that these titles will be well accepted as in Natpe 2010. We expect that the representatives who will arrive to MipTV 2010 will be anxious to buy universal products that are cost effective. Dori Media Group’s varied catalogue enables them to fulfill this exact need, meaning, find telenovelas and daily dramas which have the ability to generate high ratings in relatively low cost.
