MyNetworkTV to Debut Sitcom Starring Flavor Flav

NEW YORK, February 7: The
U.S.-based free-to-air channel MyNetworkTV has ordered 13 episodes of Under
One Roof
, a new half-hour comedy
series starring Flavor Flav, for broadcast this spring.

In the series, Flav plays
Calvster Hill, an ex-convict that moves in with his wealthy, conservative
brother, Walter. Calvster turns the Hill family's life upside down, parading
his old prison cronies through the house, teaching his nephew Walter Jr. to be
a gangsta rapper and butting heads with Walter's snooty wife, Ashley.

Under One Roof is executive produced by Claude Brooks for C To
The B Productions and Darryl J. Quarles for Qtopia Entertainment. The series is
directed by Brian Roberts and written by Danielle Quarles and Gelila Asres. It
is currently in production in Toronto, Canada.

“We're thrilled to be
working with Flavor Flav, C To The B Productions and Qtopia Entertainment on
this exciting new comedy,” said Greg Meidel, MyNetworkTV’s president. “A
classic fish-out-of-water story, Under One Roof will be a hilarious addition to the MyNetworkTV
lineup.”

In a joint statement,
Brooks and Quarles commented: “It can't get much better than working on a
comedy with a personality like Flavor Flav. This type of program is a perfect
fit for his unique brand of humor and we are proud to be bringing it to
MyNetworkTV.”
