MTVNI Ups Jamie Caring

LONDON, October 24: MTV Networks International
(MTVNI) has promoted Jamie Caring to senior VP of talent and music, with responsibility
for driving the development of the company’s music strategy across all brands
and platforms in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Canada, Europe, Latin
America, the Middle East and Russia.

Reporting to Richard Godfrey, MTVNI’s SVP of
content and music, Caring will partner with locally managed MTVNI businesses
and international departments to integrate artist activities across all
operations. He will manage the London and New York International Talent &
Music team to oversee the booking and negotiations for artists at the MTV
Europe Music Awards (EMAs), digital media
opportunities such as First Listen, MTV News, and artist
participation in long-form projects from The Greenhouse, Staying Alive and The
MTV Europe Foundation. He was most recently VP of talent and music.
