MTVNI Lands Deals from MTV, Comedy Central Catalogue

LONDON: MTV Networks International has secured new European agreements for Comedy Central programming, along with closing multiple deals around the world for its MTV brand.

From the Comedy Central portfolio, The Sarah Silverman Show is set to launch on Belgium’s Acht Channel later this year. TV2 in Denmark has picked up the Comedy Central Roast series for the first time and a deal extension with SIC sees The Daily Show with Jon Stewart broadcast for a further year in Portugal.

The seventh season of both MTV’s Made and Room Raiders went to SBS in Belgium, while Denmark’s TV2 went for Viva La Bam. Malaysia’s TV8 struck a deal to air Paris Hilton’s My BFF. Seasons four and five of Pimp My Ride have been picked up by Mexico’s Canale Once, and Chilevision in Chile is to broadcast Nitro Circus, along with Room 401.
