MTV Networks in Content Deal with AOL Video

NEW YORK, December 12: MTV Networks has reached a deal to
make available for free on AOL Video clips of a range of its content, culled
from, among others, the Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and Spike TV brands.

Beginning later this week, visitors to AOL Video will be
able to view short-form video from Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, CMT,
Logo, The N, Spike TV, MTV2, AtomFilms and GameTrailers, including show clips
from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The
Hills
, iCarly and I Love New York.

"Whether it's on-air, online or on mobile, our
audiences form communities around our content in all the places they explore
and engage with our brands across platforms," said Mika
Salmi, the president of global digital media at MTV Networks. "By
delivering a vast library of clips from our hit shows through AOL Video, we're
increasing engagement with our brands across the digital space, creating
additional online ad inventory, and closing the loop by driving audiences back
to our popular linear channels."
