Mr. Nobody Character Joins Mr. Men Titles

LONDON: Egmont has uncovered an original Mr. Men character from Roger Hargreaves, Mr. Nobody, which returns to bookshops after 20 years.

The book brings the total number of classic Mr. Men books, represented by Chorion, to 47. Mr. Nobody is the first new character to join the Mr. Men collection in six years. More than 100 million Mr. Men titles have been sold worldwide since they were first published 39 years ago. Since Roger Hargreaves passed away in 1988, his son Adam Hargreaves has continued writing and illustrating new stories.

Adam Hargreaves said, “My father would be delighted that Mr. Nobody has returned to be enjoyed by new Mr. Men fans. He’s invisible so it’s no surprise that he’s been elusive, and I am thrilled he has been found.”

David Riley, the managing director of the Egmont Publishing Group, added: “We are so excited to have discovered Mr. Nobody. He is a wonderful addition to the much loved classic Mr. Men range.”

Mr. Nobody is being published this March.
