MPA Unveils Lineup for Asia Media Summit

HONG KONG: Media Partners Asia is hosting its second Asia Media Summit this September, featuring speeches by senior executives from STAR India, Colors, Jupiter Telecommunications, Fox International Channels and Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, among others.

The summit takes place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong on September 7. Speakers include Tomoyuki Moriizumi, the president of Jupiter Telecommunications; Hary Tanoe, the group CEO of Global Mediacom/Media Nusantara Citra; Rajesh Kamat, the CEO of Colors; Uday Shankar, the CEO of Star India; Bharat Ranga, the CEO of international business at Zee Entertainment; Grant Ferguson, the group CFO at Astro All Asia Networks; Ben Way, the managing director of the Macquarie Korea Opportunity Fund; Liu Shuang, the CEO of Phoenix New Media; Richard Shim, the executive VP of CJ Media; Sean Cohan, the senior VP of international at AETN; Tom Keaveny, the executive VP and managing director of Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific; Ward Platt, the president for Asia at Fox International Channels; Nick Wrenn, the president of digital services at CNN International; and Haoyu Shen, the senior VP of Baidu. More speakers will be added to the agenda in the coming weeks.
