More Nanny 911 for CMT

LOS ANGELES: Granada America has signed an exclusive arrangement to produce eight original episodes of its reality series Nanny 911 for CMT, which has been airing the show since March 2008.

With production already under way, the new episodes will reunite with original nannies Deborah Carroll and Stella Reid. Nanny 911, which follows a team of nannies who teach the do’s and don’ts of child-rearing, has been produced for FOX for the last three seasons. The new episodes are slated to premiere on CMT in April.

"We’re delighted to enter into this agreement with CMT to produce new episodes of our proven family-oriented series,” said Paul Buccieri, the president and CEO of Granada America.  “Nanny 911 has gained great traction at the network level and off-net, as well, and we are confident that the show will find a long-standing home with CMT and its viewers."

"Nanny 911 is one of CMT’s most successful acquisitions to date, and has helped the channel grow some 20 percent in daytime over last year," added Mary Beth Cunin, the senior VP of programming strategy for CMT. "We’re thrilled to add new original episodes of Nanny 911 in prime time next year."
