Moonscoop’s SamSam Lands New Slots

PARIS: Moonscoop has signed up new broadcasters for its 3D preschool series SamSam, including deals in Singapore and Italy.

Italy’s Rai and Turner Broadcasting Italy both went for season two of SamSam. The show also scored expanded distribution in Asia, with Okto in Singapore and Hong Kong’s I-cable taking on both seasons. Pelican scooped up the home-video rights for Singapore and Malaysia.

Lionel Marty, the president of worldwide sales at Moonscoop, said: “SamSam may be small in size but he is big in popularity. We’re very pleased to have secured further commitment to the series in Italy with Rai and Turner, and also with the strength of SamSam in Asia, a region where our shows are performing particularly well.”
