Michael Lake Named President of WWE Films

STAMFORD, October 5: World Wrestling Entertainment has
appointed Michael Lake as president of its WWE Films division, replacing Joel
Simon.

Lake will report to WWE chairman Vince McMahon, and will be
charged with developing theatrical and direct-to-video opportunities for the
company. In addition to feature films, Lake will also work to develop new
television projects to benefit from an affiliation with WWE or its Superstars.

Throughout his more than 20 years of producing films and
television shows, Lake has overseen production for such hits at The Matrix
Trilogy, Miss Congeniality, Ocean’s Eleven
and
Ocean’s Twelve
.
