LOS ANGELES, October 4: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios’
worldwide television group has appointed Christopher Ottinger as executive VP
of international television distribution.

Ottinger will be based in MGM’s Los Angeles headquarters and
is charged with direct oversight of MGM’s pay-TV licensing and business
development activities outside the U.S. and Canada. He will report to MGM
Worldwide TV’s co-president, Gary Marenzi, working closely with him on overall
international TV sales planning as well as collaborating on acquisitions and
programming initiatives.

A 14-year veteran of the global television industry,
Ottinger most recently held the post of executive VP for both Fox World and Fox
Television Studios International, where he oversaw the production of more than
30 format productions per year, including Joe Millionaire and Beauty and the Geek. Prior to this, he served as senior VP of business
development and co-production for Paramount International Television and as
executive director of business affairs for MGM’s international and domestic
television operations.

"Chris is an experienced and talented executive whose
broad skill set will serve us well in MGM’s entrepreneurial environment,” said
Marenzi. “Having collaborated with Chris during his first stint at MGM as well
as at Paramount, I am pleased to welcome him back to the MGM team.”
