Mexican Slot for RollBots

BEVERLY HILLS/OTTAWA: Televix Entertainment has secured a Mexican slot for Amberwood Entertainment’s RollBots on Televisa, which is slated to premiere the animated series in 2010.

“Televix continues to secure top-tier broadcasters for RollBots and we are delighted to have partnered with them for South and Central America,” stated Jonathan Wiseman, the senior VP at Amberwood.

The 26×30-minute CGI production premiered earlier this year in Canada on YTV and is launching this fall on the TheCW4Kids block of Saturday morning programming on The CW Network. Televix previously firmed up agreements with Medcom TV in Panama, Televicentro in Nicaragua and ZAZ, a pay-TV broadcaster operated by MVS Networks. Amberwood, meanwhile, recently announced sales to Network Ten in Australia and Mediaset in Italy.

The introduces the world of Flip City and Spin, a crime fighting ‘bot, who lacks a tribe of his own but makes up for it with incredible speed. Spin takes on criminals in Flip City and while on his adventures, discovers many things about himself, including why he has no tribe.
