Metan Named China Rep for Guiding Light, As the World Turns

CANNES: Metan Development Group has firmed up a deal with Power for the exclusive distribution rights in China for the popular daytime soap operas Guiding Light and As the World Turns.

Metan will be the exclusive representative in China for 130 episodes of each series, both produced by TeleNext Media for Procter & Gamble Productions. MIPCOM marks the first time the shows will be available for China.

Metan’s president, CEO and founding partner, Larry Namer, said, “Guiding Light and As The World Turns, two of the most successful TV programs ever produced in the U.S., have captured the hearts of North American audiences for decades.
