Mediatoon Highlights The Garfield Show

PARIS: Leading off Mediatoon’s MIPTV slate is The Garfield Show, which has already sold in more than 130 countries, along with the new series Yummy Toonies.

The 52×11-minute The Garfield Show, produced by Dargaud Media, has a second season in production. Also featured in the 104×1-minute Yummy Toonies, co-produced by Cherry Picking, Ellipsanime and Storimages. The show is already on air on Gulli on weekend mornings.

Mediatoon is also bringing Contraptus, based on the comic book Leonard by Turk and De Groot. Each of the 78 seven-minute episodes is followed by a 40-second interstitial of the invention that the genius Dr. Contraptus has tried to perfect before his time. The 104×11-minute The Magic Roundabout is also on the roster. The first season of the preschool series is co-produced by Les Films Action, Ellipsanime and Play Production, and full deliver of the second season is due for fall.
