SINGAPORE: MediaCorp has allocated $5 million for a three-year Content Innovation Fund (CIF) to support selected projects across a range of platforms.

The fund will provide capital to support the initial development stages for selected projects. The chosen creative ideas will receive a budget to develop the concept and produce a pilot. The projects can cover any of MediaCorp’s platforms, including TV, radio, print, movies and digital media.

Chang Long Jong, the deputy CEO of television at MediaCorp, said: “As the company with the most complete range of media platforms in Singapore, MediaCorp prides itself in delivering valued content to our consumers via our various outlets. With today’s changing demographics and media consumption habits and trends, we hope that this new CIF will provide another avenue for us to develop more innovative and refreshing content that will continue to engage and enthrall our audiences.”
