Maya the Bee Set for TV Stage Show

COLOGNE/MUNICH: Studio100 Media and production company mielke nowak media have aligned to produce a TV stage show for the property Maya the Bee for the German market.

The production will feature well-known actors and comedians. The stage show will be based around the character of Maya the Bee, which has been told in the books of Waldemar Bonsels that have been translated into more than 40 languages. The animated series for Maya premiered in Germany in 1976. A revived and modernized Maya the Bee done in 3D is currently in production by Studio 100 Animation in association with TF1 and ZDF. Studio100 Media is handling the international sales and distribution for the revamped Maya property.

Maike Mielke, the managing director of mielke nowak media, and Ingo Nowak, executive producer, commented, “With the realization and endorsement of the production of the cult classic Maya stage show a huge dream has been fulfilled for us.
