Marvel Teams with Canadian Outfit for New Superhero TV Series

LOS ANGELES, October 25: Marvel Entertainment’s Marvel
Studios division is working with the Vancouver-based No Equal Entertainment to
develop a television series based on the comic book character Moon Knight.

First introduced by Marvel Comics in the mid-1970s, Moon
Knight presents the story of soldier of fortune Marc Spector, who becomes a
superhero after an encounter with the Egyptian god of vengeance and the moon
deity Konshu.

"Moon Knight has all the elements for an engaging
television series,” said David Maisel, the executive VP of Marvel
Entertainment. “No Equal Entertainment has a real passion for the project and
an amazing vision of how to bring the character and storyline to life that will
appeal to action and sci-fi enthusiasts.”

Run by the father and son team of Larry and J.B. Sugar, No
Equal Entertainment develops, produces, distributes and markets feature films,
television movies, series and mini-series.
