Management Changes at Corus

TORONTO, July 23: Corus
Entertainment has announced a management reshuffle, with Scott
Dyer becoming chief technology officer and Doug Murphy taking on
responsibility for the company’s kids’ networks.

Effective August 5, Dyer
will assume the role of CTO, reporting to John Cassaday, the president and CEO
of Corus Entertainment. Dyer will lead all divisional and corporate
technological undertakings, with operational and strategic responsibility for
hardware, software, personnel and technical resources for Corus's core and new
media/new platform businesses. With this move, Murphy becomes president of
Nelvana and executive VP and general manager of Corus Kids, reporting to Paul
Robertson, the president of Corus Television. Murphy will oversee Corus’s kids’
business globally, including YTV, Treehouse, Discovery Kids, Nelvana, KidsCo,
qubo and Kids Can Press.

In addition, effective
September 2, Cassaday will assume operating responsibility for Corus Radio on
an interim basis. This follows the resignation of John Hayes as the president
of Corus Radio, effective August 31.
