NEW YORK: AMC Networks is expanding the role of Eduardo Zulueta, the managing director of Chello Multicanal, to include oversight of Chello Latin America.

Zulueta will divide his time between Chello Multicanal's Madrid office and Chello Latin America's offices in Buenos Aires and Miami.

Alejandro Harrison, formerly head of Chello Latin America, has been named president of business development for AMCN Chellomedia. His responsibilities include expanding AMCN Chellomedia content into new territories and onto new platforms, and identifying M&A opportunities. He will continue to be based in Buenos Aires.

Zulueta and Harrison will continue to report to Ed Carroll, AMC Networks' COO. Dermot Shortt, managing director of Chello Zone; Mike Moriarty, managing director of Chello Central Europe; and Bruce Tuchman, the president of AMC/Sundance Channel Global, will also continue to report to Carroll.

“Eduardo and Alejandro are strategic, seasoned executives,” said Carroll. “These new leadership roles will help us take advantage of their vision and operational skills as we continue to align and expand our global operations."
