M6 Reports Dip in Q1 Revenues

PARIS, May 6: First-quarter revenues at M6 dropped 3.3
percent to 327.3 million euros, with a small fall in ad revenues to 165 million
euros.

While ad revenues were down, non-advertising revenues, from
digital channels, diversification and audiovisual rights, gained 46 percent to
20 million euros.

The French broadcaster attributed the fall in ad revenues to
diminished adspend from the banking, retail and publishing sectors. These were
partially offset by gains in the food and beverage, transport and telecoms
areas.

Revenues at the digital channels were up 28.2 percent, led
by W9. The diversification and audio-visual rights segment, meanwhile, saw
revenues fall 11.6 percent.
