HÖHENKIRCHEN/MUNICH: Zodiak Kids has made m4e a new licensee for the merchandising rights in German-speaking territories for the preschool series Little Princess.

The merchandising of the 65-episode 11-minute series in Benelux is handled by m4e’s subsidiary Telescreen. The current German merchandising program consists of DVDs (Foreign Media Group), audio books of season one (Edel Kids), a monthly magazine (Panini) and puzzles (Ravensburger). m4e plans to extend the existing program with partners in the areas of apparel, toys and stationery.

Little Princess is based on the books by author and illustrator Tony Ross, published in more than 30 countries. Since 2007, the British TV series has been broadcast in Germany by KI.KA. A third season is currently in the works.

Hans Ulrich Stoef, the CEO of m4e AG, said, “We are very proud of working with Zodiak Kids on this high-quality property. We’re excited at the prospect of managing the program for further growth and looking to meet with existing and prospective licensees at the Licensing Market in Munich.”
