Logo’s LGBT-themed Series Now on Mobile Phones

NEW YORK, April 26: Logo, MTV Networks’ cable channel for
lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender viewers, launched the first episode of The
Big Gay Sketch Show
on its mobile phone
service prior to its television premiere.

This is the first time that full-length LGBT-themed
entertainment has been made available on mobile phones.

In addition to the launch of The Big Gay Sketch Show, Logo’s portfolio of on-demand mobile device
programming also includes news form CBS News on Logo, highlights from the 18th Annual GLAAD
Media Awards
, LGBT-focused interviews with
leading celebrities at CelebCity,
stand-up comedy and more.

The Big Gay Sketch Show
not only tells the LGBT community’s inside jokes for the first time, but we’re
also telling them on every possible viewing platform for the first time,” said
Lisa Sherman, the SVP and GM of Logo. “Logo’s extensive partnerships with the
nation’s top cable, satellite and new media distributors are opening a
first-ever national stage for LGBT artists, directors, actors and filmmakers.”

Logo is a 24/7 ad-supported
television and broadband channel. The network launched June 30, 2005 with more
than 1,000 hours of content and has approximately 26 million subscribers across
the United States.
