LIVING to Air Fourth Season of Britain’s Next Top Model

LONDON, January 31: Virgin
Media Television-owned entertainment channel LIVING will broadcast a fourth
season of Britain’s Next Top Model,
the British version of the hit American reality competition series distributed
by CBS Paramount International Television.

Airing on LIVING this
spring, the fourth 12×1-hour season of the series will see another set of
fourteen aspiring models battle it out to win the title of “Britain’s Next Top
Model.” Host Lisa Snowdon will return to Britain’s Next Top Model as presenter and judge. Snowdon heads up a trio of
expert judges who will determine which participant will walk away with a contract
with Models 1, a cover spread with Company magazine and a contract with Max Factor. International photographer
and former Icelandic supermodel Huggy Ragnarsson and hugely successful stylist
and designer Gerry DeVeaux make up the panel for the fourth season.

LIVING has re-appointed
Thumbs Up Productions to produce the latest season, with Clare Hollywood,
LIVING’s head of commissioning, to executive produce. Martyn Redman and Cheryl
Snelling will executive produce for Thumbs Up Productions.

The third season of Britain’s
Next Top Model
was one of LIVING’s
biggest hits of 2007, with 5 million people tuning in to the series, and
episodes regularly averaging around 400,000 adults. Season three grew more than
40 percent on the second season.

Hollywood commented: “Britain’s
Next Top Model
is now a hotly
anticipated part of LIVING’s annual schedule, and coming into its fourth
series, it will be bigger, bolder and sexier than ever. Now established as the
ultimate model show on U.K. television, BNTM remains compelling viewing with a
really exciting mix of personalities and looks from all the models, a fantastic
new panel line up and more high profile, glamorous contributors than ever
before.”

Britain’s Next Top
Model
is part of an exclusive
British format deal between LIVING and CBS Paramount International Television.
The show is based on the format from the hit U.S. series America’s Next Top
Model
, the top-rated show on The
CW network. LIVING is to air the ninth season of America’s Next Top Model in the first quarter of 2008.
