LIVING Scores Eleventh Hour

LONDON: In a deal with Warner Bros. International Television, British entertainment channel LIVING has secured the rights to the Jerry Bruckheimer Television drama Eleventh Hour starring Rufus Sewell.

The 18×1-hour series, airing on CBS in the U.S.—where it is averaging 12 million viewers a week—will be exclusive to LIVING for its 2009 prime-time schedule. It is based on the U.K. series of the same name and features British actor Sewell as Dr. Jacob Hood, a brilliant biophysicist and special science advisor to the FBI, investigating scientific crises and oddities.

“Strong, compelling with hard-hitting story lines and a great cast, including an amazing performance from Rufus Sewell, Eleventh Hour is a great addition to LIVING’s drama lineup," said Amy Barham, the head of acquisitions at Virgin Media Television. "We have such a strong heritage of quality top performing procedural dramas, we know our audience will love Eleventh Hour.”
