Lionsgate Unveils NATPE Lineup

LOS ANGELES, December 16:
Headlining Lionsgate's slate for NATPE is the new drama series Crash, based on the Academy Award-winning film of the
same name, as well as the dark comedy Nurse Jackie.

Nurse Jackie stars The Sopranos' Edie Falco as a strong-willed emergency room
nurse in a New York City hospital. Lionsgate holds the U.S. off-net and
international DVD distribution rights for the series.

Also on offer from
Lionsgate is the anthology series Fear Itself. The hour-long horror films are directed by
award-winning filmmakers from around the world, including John Landis (An
American Werewolf in London
),
Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, IV)
and Ronny Yu (Freddy vs. Jason).

The Emmy- and Golden
Globe-winning drama series Mad Men is
in Lionsgate's NATPE catalogue as well. The series is centered on one of New
York's most prestigious ad agencies on Madison Avenue in the early 1960s.

In the reality genre, Paris
Hilton's My New BFF
follows as the
heiress invites 20 potential best friends to live in a house and compete in
tests of loyalty, endurance and girl politics. The rapper 50 Cent takes center
stage in 50 Cent: The Money and the Power. The series follows 14 wannabe moguls as they compete to have their
professional endeavors financially invested in by 50 Cent. In Scream Queens, ten unknown actresses vie to win a major role in
a Lionsgate horror film.

The Golden Globe-winning,
modern dramedy Weeds follows a
suburban mom who supports her family by becoming the neighborhood marijuana
dealer. The ensemble drama The Guard looks at Coast Guard rescue specialists who are searching for meaning
in their own lives while enduring danger out in the ocean. The comedy Chandon
Pictures
features a videographer
who convinces himself that his portfolio of weddings and children's birthday
parties will be the next award-winning documentary.

The Christmas Cottage, a seasonal drama feature, is based on the true
story of Thomas Kinkade, who was inspired by the home-town values of his
childhood and went on to become a successful artist. The comedic feature Beer
for My Horses
spotlights two best
friends, who are local deputy officers, on a road trip to Mexico.

Lionsgate's NATPE lineup
also includes eight Marvel-animated features: Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate Avengers II, The Invincible Iron Man, Doctor Strange, The Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, the
double feature Hulk vs. Wolverine
and Hulk vs. Thor, Thor Son
of Asgard
and Planet Hulk.
