LIMA Taps Sesame Workshop Exec to Fill EVP Role

NEW YORK: Maura Regan is joining The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) this month as executive VP.

In her new post, Regan will use her licensing and international expertise to help LIMA broaden the scope of its services and offerings for the global industry. She served as chairman of the LIMA board of directors from 2012 to 2014. Regan spent 17 years with Sesame Workshop.

As senior VP and general manager of international media business, she oversaw Sesame Workshop’s international distribution and licensing business. Under Regan’s leadership, Sesame Workshop opened its first office in China. Before that, Regan was senior VP and general manager of global consumer products at Sesame Workshop. Prior to her time at the nonprofit organization, Regan held executive positions with Scholastic Entertainment and MTV Networks.
