Lightworks Lines Up Deals with International Distributors

NEW YORK, October 4: Lightworks Program Distribution has
lined up relationships with Daro Film Distribution, GA & A, JC Media, Peace
Arch Television and Vision Plus Entertainment to complement its worldwide
distribution activities on key titles like Michael Apted's Being Married, Roberto Faenza's Come Into the Light and Lives for Sale, a documentary about human trafficking.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for all companies
involved," said John Cuddihy, the EVP and MD of Lightworks Program
Distribution. "These alliances are a mark of LPD's continued commitment to
expansion. By aligning LPD with such highly respected distribution agents, we
are able to effectively increase our sales outreach globally."

Daro Film Distribution is based in Monaco; GA&A Group
operates out of Italy; JC Media is a boutique television program distributor
specializing in program distribution in English-speaking markets; Peace Arch is
based in Canada; and Vision Plus Entertainment specializes in distribution to the
Asian market.

At MIPCOM, Lightworks will be
showcasing a slate of its new titles, headlined by Michael Apted's Being
Married
. The special looks at the courtship,
marriage, and progression of nine couples, and was inspired by Apted’s own
acclaimed Up series. "Michael
Apted's accomplishments, including his past and present films, are of the
highest quality and we are delighted to be associated with him," said
Cuddihy. “Being Married,
exclusively distributed by LPD, is no exception to that statement. The documentary
leverages the endless and timeless fascination with what makes lasting
relationships work and reflects the most significant ways in which marriage and
relationships are being challenged and re-defined.”

Being Married will
premiere in prime time in the U.S. on Hallmark Channel in 2007.
