Lifetime Networks Bolsters Staff

NEW YORK, September 4:
JoAnn Alfano, executive producer of 30 Rock, has been named executive VP of entertainment for
Lifetime Networks, effective immediately.

Alfano will be responsible
for the programming and scheduling of Lifetime Television, Lifetime Movie
Network and Lifetime Real Women. She will be based in the company’s Los Angeles
office.

Before joining Lifetime,
Alfano was executive producer of 30 Rock, as well as president of her production company, TV Tray
Entertainment, which had a first-look deal at Universal Media Studios. During
her more than 20-year career as a network executive, Alfano led the drama and
comedy departments at NBC, where she developed shows such as the Emmy
Award-winning Will & Grace
and the Peabody Award-winning Scrubs.

Susanne Daniels, who
launched Army Wives, will
remain as a consultant to Lifetime Networks.
