LOS ANGELES: Lifetime Television has renewed One Born Every Minute for a second season, with ten new hour-long episodes headed to the network.

The show takes an in-depth look at life inside the maternity ward at a hospital in Ohio. The series’ February 1 debut was Lifetime’s most-watched unscripted program among women 18 to 49 and adults 18 to 49 in more than a year.

“The unexpected moments of childbirth brilliantly captured in One Born Every Minute—ranging from intense drama to the sheer joy of having a child—immediately struck a chord with our viewers,” said Nancy Dubuc, Lifetime Networks’ president and general manager. “Reveille worked tirelessly to make a great show, and we look forward to working with them and the team at Riverside Methodist Hospital on season two.”
