What are some of your top properties for MIPCOM?  

 

Wolverine and X-Men, Season Two-26 new episodes based on the Marvel comic book franchise.
Speed Racer Two, 26 new episodes based on the classic TV show and feature film franchise.
Speed Racer Classic, 52 episodes of the original series.
Brave, animated action adventure series featuring a young Native American hero
HTDT, new updated take on the classic “Humpty Dumpty” tale.
 
 

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?

 

Liberation Entertainment, is now one of the leading distributors of branded high quality animation, both 2-D and 3-D including CGI, Flash and cell. The buyers of a big appetite for action adventure animated programming are very welcoming of our premier branded product such as Marvel’s Wolverine and Toonz’ Speed Racer. Both of these properties have been highly successful around the globe, in there first seasons. They have also been supported by worldwide blockbuster feature film franchises. Our customers are very receptive to continuing these series franchises. Along with these properties we are very excited to bring two new series CGI series, in Brave and HTDT.
 
 

What are some of the trends you’re currently seeing in this market?

 

When it comes to adventure animated series, it is important to distribute properties with Characters that the consumers have awareness of from movies, comic books and successful TV cartoon series. The richness and the quality of the scripts, characters and high-quality animation, whether, classic cell or CGI or Flash are critical to your series with the kids and families.
 
 

What are your goals and expectations MIPCOM?

To successfully launch Wolverine and X-Men season 2, Speed Racer, The Next Generation season 2 and Classic Speed Racer for 2010 premieres at MIP Junior and MIPCOM 2009. We will also be focused on previewing our brand new shows Brave and HTDT coming in 2011.
