NBC announced a schedule that includes the regular Thursday night comedy block being broken up midseason to make way for The Blacklist. FOX went for five new dramas, two event productions and four comedies. "Boldness" and "stability" were key words at ABC's Upfront, with key franchises being used as building blocks for new show launches. CBS's new schedule makes room for Thursday night football. The CW is looking to build on its recent gains with a slew of renewals and just a smattering of new shows.
